In update 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077 a Memorial for David from Edgerunners appeared

The long -awaited update 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077 finally came out, and fans plunge into the game to find out exactly what changes CD Projekt Red have made to the basic version of the game. Much has been said about the new automobile battles, perk systems and other changes that Cyberpunk 2077 have undergone, but the fans have already found a small addition to Edgerunners anime-spinoff. I warn you that there will now be spoilers on Edgerunners.

For the first time, this was noticed by the user \ Synthpotato: if after getting to Night City to go to the North Ouk in Westbruck, you can stumble upon a touching monument to David Martinez from Edgerunners. Those who watched anime know that David was killed by Adam Smasher, so CD Projekt Red decided to touch all our heart strings, freeing a little space to turn on the place for its burial.

The memorial causes even more sadness if you look at its description. It says: "You did not take me to the moon, but you were with me", What implies that it was Lucy who installed a memorial for David.

There is nothing surprising in the fact that Cyberpunk 207 was so easily recognized by Edgerunners. Firstly, they are created in one universe, so David, Lucy and the rest of the gang members, obviously, would be tangible in Night City. Secondly, the anime was incredibly popular when it only turned out, which attracted much more people who could miss the game. For those who moved to the game with update 2.0 and Phantom Liberty, to see small hints on Edgerunners, most likely it will be very pleasant.

You are also probably not surprised to learn that this is not the only mention of Edgerunners. In the new Cyberpunk 2077 skills tree, several skills appeared inspired by the characters of the series. For example, the skill inspired by David allows us to exceed the possibilities of cyberimsttes in exchange for a decrease in health. Other skills refer to Lucy and Rebecca, providing the player with the ability that meets each character.
